Copperfield Court Holiday Caravan Llaneilian, Isle of Anglesey

Location and Directions

Llaneilian is located near the town of Amlwch at the very North of the Isle of Anglesey.

Anglesey has two road bridges joining it to the mainland, the old Menai Suspension Bridge and the newer Britannia Road and Rail bridge.

If using the old bridge, go straight-on at the two roundabouts you'll encounter after crossing the bridge, (the second one, near a Shell garage you need to go slightly right), up the hill to a third roundabout, where you need to turn right onto the A5025.

If using the Britannia Bridge, stay on the A55 for just a few hundred yards having come off the bridge (don't take the first left slip - 8A) and take the slip road up to the A5025 (8) signposted to Amlwch, turning right at the top of the slip.

In both cases now, proceed along the A5025 for approximately 16 miles, through Pentreath, through Benllech, take a left at the roundabout near Moelfre with the rusty anchor on it, through Brynrefail and bypassing Penysarn.
As you come down the hill just after Penysarn, still in a 40 limit, watch for a disused white garage to your right, next to Anglesey Mowers.
Turn right just after this ex-garage onto the road sign-posted to Llaneilian - if you leave the 40 limit you've gone too far. After a mile of winding road, turn right at the T-junction. Continue along this up and down and winding road until nearly at the coast, passing a church on your left, and then a 90 degree turn to the left - you're almost there. Continue for a couple of hundred yards to some bends with walls on both sides, as you emerge from these you will see a public car park to the right. Our driveway is immediately before this, marked "Copperfield Court":
